Tragedy on the road

The Arabian community recently suffered the loss of 4 horses due to a horrific crash on their return home from the region 9 show. While the full details have not been released what we do know is a tractor trailer crashed in to the back of the horse trailer, killing 4 of its 5 occupants. The very forward horse, Arabian stallion Dealerz Choice, survived but was injured. He remains at LSU under their care. We hope that he continues to heal, and for the families who lost their beloved horses we send our sincerest condolences.

It is a stark reminder of how quickly things can change and how important it is to live every moment while you can. It is also a reminder to everyone that when you are on the road, pay attention to what's going on around you when driving. Not your phone, makeup, or whatever else, but the cars in front of you. It only takes a split second to change your life and the lives of others.
